A mystery is something that is real and true, but cannot be seen or measured. In the context of religion, mystery refers to the great truths of life, such as belief in God or life after death, which shape how we think or ourselves and what kind of life we live.
A mystery is not the same as a puzzle. A puzzle is a problem that we can’t solve or fix, and which does not affect us deeply. Unlike a puzzle, a mystery is about something profound, beyond our comprehension, which influences who we are and the choices we make in life.
