This conference closed on Wednesday 23rd August.
JPC would like to thank all attendees and presenters.
It was an event to remember and we are excited to share some photos, videos and feedback soon.
In the meantime – you can visit our Facebook page for a sneak at some pictures.
The conference is open to all Deaf and hearing people who work in the pastoral care fields and other services within the Deaf Community and for the Deaf community members themselves. It will be an opportunity for Deaf Catholics to experience their faith in their natural language – Auslan.
This rare event will give participants the opportunity to discuss and learn more about a variety of topics of importance to our community like changing demographics, relationships, aged care and inclusion. There will be opportunity to share ideas and practices with a focus on the well-being and sustainability of our Deaf Catholic communities.
This event is open to everyone. We encourage Deaf and hearing people to attend and any professionals and community members who may be involved in Deaf Catholic communities around Australia and neighbouring countries.
Take advantage of this opportunity to renew and form new connections!
All information is on this page, however, if you prefer, you can print this booklet and read all the details:
